1  Smriti Irani launches GNFC’s mean project in UP:-

• State-run Gujarat Narmada valley fertilizers and Chemicals Limited started socio-economic new project inaugurated by union union Minister Smriti Irani in Amethi district of UP.

2  Gujarat launches Pocket Cop Project:-

• Gujarat Police unveiled the Pocket Cop Project which will enable quicker verification of passport applicants and search of accused person among other.
• The project was inaugurated by chief Minister Vijay Rupani in Gandhinagar.
• Under this project, smartphone with data connectivity will be given to 14,900 police personnel including every police station Incharge Investigating Officer ,PCR van and those involved in passport verification.

3  India Forums a Committee to Reform Higher Defence Planning:-

4  Karan Johar is first Indian filmmaker in Madame Tussauds collection:-

• Karan Johar has become the first ever Bollywood filmmaker to get a place at the famous Madame Tussauds.
• The process will take about 6 month for the wax figurine to be ready and the process has begin in London.

8  BCCL chairman Iindu Jain gets lifetime contribution to media award:-

• Indu Jain chairman of Bennett Coleman and Co India’s largest media house has received the All India Management Association(AIMA’s) annual award for lifetime contribution to media.

9  Yes Bank gets RBI approval to open office in London and Singapore:-

• Yes bank has received the RBI approval to open to representative office in London and Singapore.
• Yes Bank opened its first representative office in Abu Dhabi in April 2015 and also launched the IFSC banking unit at Gift City, Gandhinagar in the same year.

13  Official Mascot of FIBA Basketball world Cup 2019 Unveiled:-

• ‘Son of Dreams’ were revealed as official mascot of the NBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China.
• The mascot finally Chinese dragon (Son of Dream) former,a Siberian Tiger (Speed Tiger) and a lion(Qiu Qiu).
