Date of The Examination- 12 August 2018 (Sunday).

Fee-

Fee for the examination is 200 rs. However female and SC/St candidates have not to pay any fee.

Fee can be paid via cash,net banking,credit/debit cards etc.

Eligibility FOR CAPF AC 2018 –

Age Limit– 20 TO 25 as on 1^st August 2018.

He/She should be born between 2^nd  August 1993 and 1^st august 1998.

Age Relaxation–

For SC/St   upto 5 years upper age limit.

3 year for OBC candidates.

5 year for civilian central govt. Employees.

5 year for Candidates of Jammu domiciled between 1^st jan 1980 to 31^st dec 1989.

Gender– Both male and female can apply.

Educational Qualification– Candidate should have bachelor’s degree.

Re-appear or not after Final Selection-

If a candidate is selected finally to the CAPF and he was unable to go for training session or whatever. He/She can not give this exam for the next time.

Scheme of Selection FOR UPSC AC 2018-

1   Written Examination– This consists 2 papers.

Paper 1-  General Ability and intelligence for 250 marks.

Questions will be objective and in both hindi/English medium.

Paper 2 – General studies , essay and comprehensions for 200 marks.

Descriptive type paper with English medium.

2   Physical efficiency Test (PET)-

Disqualification for pregnant candidates.

3  Personality Test-

150 marks are for personality/ interview test.

4 Merit List– Final merit will be prepared by adding marks of written exam and personal interview.

Mode of Paper and Marking System-

Mode of examination will be offline.

There will be negative marking in objective paper ( paper 1 )
